In a surprise move, God moved us into hosting the Mission
House for Children’s Hope. The host that was here when we arrived had to return
to the States and we were asked to fill in for a few weeks. Responsibilities of
the host include coordinating and leading mission teams, financial management
of the household and its employees and general oversight of the house. It is a
myriad of big and little details. One week we were feeling the crunch between
two different agendas and described the feeling of being “hemmed in” to my
friend. Her response is blog worthy. Thank you, Cece!
“Regarding
your feeling of being hemmed in, I am praying that you will see the truth in
that statement. You are hemmed in-you are right where God put you as he weaves
his tapestry. You are threads placed exactly where he wants you to be in the
picture. In this case, being hemmed in is a beautiful thing! It is God using
you for his purpose. I pray you will be blessed this week as you see God move
in you and through you!”
